7 most important steps for beginner to start blog

most important steps to start blog

Are you passionate about blogging? Want to start your blog with your topic that you know everything about it? Like you I was also a beginner in blogging when I didn’t have an idea about blogging and how to start it and manage it. But now here it’s my first post but not in my first blog. I have been made two more blogs and its running well now. So I’m here with my personal experience in blogging to show you how I made my first blog when I was beginner. There are some steps that you have to follow to make blog and manage it.

1. Know your subject/niche

For making any blog you have to know in which subject you are a master or you can write about it. And this is very hard to choose a special topic when we are beginner in blogging. But when choose topic make sure that people have to read it. Means choosing topic of which readers want for, think like you are reader and you want help from internet, then which problem you have been facing, also choose topic for helping people or reader not for making blog. If you help your reader then they will come again on your blog.
Just think what you want from and what was your problem and choose that topic, again choose those topics which will run for long time but it also be a niche topic. You can also isolate your topics in part and make it longer.
Basically in successful blog there is no topic importance what you have been choose but your attitude about that topic is most important and your quality to show readers. So choose those where you have perfect, passionate and attitude

2. Get your own domain name

After choosing topic you should get your domain name for your blog and is more important, because domain is your brand and it’ll never change. Choose perfect domain that related your niche blog and most important it should be unique.
There are many blogger platforms that give you their name after your domain name “ex. Yourdomainname.blogspot.com” , it free domain for your blog but if you want to be a brand then leave it and get your own domain name. Most of sites have cheap and best services and features, you can get your domain name from godaddy and bigrock also.
Keep in mind your blog name is your brand name. make it simple and shorter don’t use long name, make it short like tutoking. Its short and easily remembered name.

3. Get hosting and blogging platform for your blog

After getting unique domain name as your brand then you have to get best blogging platform. There are so many blogging platforms available to build or make blog which are blogger.com, wordpress, jumla and so on. But I have recommended you to use wordpress platform. It’s very powerful features than others but it required hosting and in blogger platform you don’t need any hosting server but also recommended platform is wordpress.
But you are startup blogger so you should start your blog from blogger and after got success you can migrate your blog from blogger to wordpress but it’s only on one condition if you have financial problem to start  blog. Because starting blog you want domain and hosting fees per annual is near about 20-30$, So you should start your blogging carrier from blogger.
You can start your blog using hosting and also without hosting. If you choose wordpress then you need hosting server to manage your blog. And in other hand if you choose blogger platform then you don’t need any hosting server.  Amol also post a topic on blogger here
4. Design your blog

After all process you should choose best and simple design layout for your blog. Keep in mind that design should be simple in navigated also. Don’t use complex design otherwise readers will not attract to your blog. Readers want simple navigation design and well visualize. Use premium themes for your blog to attract more readers and make him loyal. Successful blogger have best and simple design because they know the importance of design in blogging. So keep in mind to use simple, well navigation and silent color of your site/blog.

5. Make your post.

After your all process of building blog the times asking to make post to get engage with readers. The unique and well knowledgeable post make reader to loyal reader for come again and again in your blog to read it. So most important think after making blog is posting should unique and self written also, do not use copy paste system because it will harmful to your SEO and blog post doesn’t search first than others and also affected on your traffic too.
Also keep in mind to use well images related to your blog post and make it attractive. Attractive posts will give traffic to your blog, so before publish try to make it more and more attractive to getting engage with readers. Then readers don’t stop him-self to subscribe your blog and be a part of your blog.

6. Be social

Superb! Now after doing all five steps time to getting traffic from other sides to blog that known as social media, you already know the power of social media to get in touch with others. So most important things to get traffic to your blog is be social and connected every time to your subscribers or readers. You should make your blog page or video or community or group on facebook, youtube, twitter, google+ and so on..
By the social media readers will know the upcoming or posted new articles on your blog and then they will click on it and come to your blog. This is the most important step to build traffic and get engage with people.
Always be social and don’t try to spam your readers, it can affect on your blogging carrier.

7. Always be active on your blog

Be active means when if your reader made comment on your blog post and try to reply all those for make him happy to get replied to his comment. It’s a part of getting loyal readers and important steps for blogging. Every time it’s not possible to reply all comments but try get minimum two hours a day to reply all those readers. Set your daily time to check comments and tell him to keep visiting. Activeness is tell readers to that your always with him for help.

How To Use https For Your Blogger Blog

How to enable https for your blogger blog

HTTPS has become a web-standard & one of those practices that every webmaster should follow. HTTPS is great for the security of data as it encrypts the data transferred between users & a website. Especially it protects them from common hacking practices such as data sniffing & man-in-the-middle-attack.
I won’t get much into the technical side of it, but let me quickly give you an overview of how HTTPS is useful for security of users like you & me.

HTTP (Hyper-text transfer protocol) S (secure)

When you open a website using HTTP protocol, or submit a form online, your data is transferred in plain text & a hacker can use sniffer tools to capture the transmitted data & see the information you have submitted. Sometimes which also includes your username & password. When you access a website that uses the HTTPS, the transmitted data is encrypted & your information is secure. This is one reason all banking & e-commerce sites are using HTTPS from day1. Below image shows the difference between HTTP & HTTPS protocol:HTTP Vs. HTTPSLast year, Google made HTTPS as a standard practice &  an official search engine ranking factor. This story generated a mixed reaction from bloggers & websites owners, as there is no money transaction happening on the website & HTTPS doesn’t seem so important for information based blogs/websites. From my understanding on this topic, I believe it’s important to have HTTPS even for the blogs, as no middle-man can alter the information. If you are up for learning more about it, I suggest you to read this article on Man-in-the-middle-attack. You can learn more about Google’s HTTPS everywhere mission with this video; https://youtu.be/cBhZ6S0PFCY So far, I haven’t implemented HTTPS here at tutoking, which is long over-due & will be done in the coming months. One reason for the same is the mixed content issue, which I have explained at the end of this article. For now, here is a great news for BlogSpot blog owners, as Google have rolled out free HTTPS for them. In this guide, you will learn everything about enabling HTTPS on your .blogSpot blog & few important things related to it.

How to make your BlogSpot Blog HTTPS enabled for free:

This feature is already enabled for all the BlogSpot.com users. Those users who are using the custom domain name, they need to wait for a while before they can take advantage of it. If you have a blog with .blogspot address, follow the steps mentioned to enable HTTPS for your blog.
  • Login to your BlogSpot dashboard
  • Click on the dropdown & go to your blog settings
  • Go to Settings > Basics & look for HTTPS Settings option
  • From the HTTPS availability dropdown, select yes & save the option.
Enable HTTPS BlogSpot blogThat’s it, and your blog is not HTTPS enabled. Your blog will become accessible over both HTTP and HTTPS connections.Though a word of warning, this may cause some issue due to mixed content on your blog. This can be caused by few things such as images on your blog hosted on HTTP site. Mixed Content errors occur when a web page downloads its initial HTML content securely over HTTPS, but then loads the follow-up content (such as images, videos, stylesheets, scripts) over insecure HTTP. These browser errors will degrade both HTTPS security and the user experience of your blog. If all your blog images & content are hosted on BlogSpot platform only, you might not face any such error. You canread this help guide to fix it or probably wait for few months before enabling HTTPS.  This feature will be available for bloggers using the custom domain name with their BlogSpot blog in the coming months. I believe most of the serious Blogspot bloggers have already purchased a domain name rather than using generic .blogspot domain address. Here is official help page for enabling HTTPS on a BlogSpot blog.
I will update you once this feature is available for all BlogSpot bloggers. For now, I would like to hear your opinion on: Is HTTPS important for information based websites? Here are some of the best articles for BlogSpot users from tutoking Archive:

6 Best Tips For Becoming a Successful Blogger in Life

How to become successful blogger in life

Being a Blogger is easy, all your need to do is start a new Blog and start writing. Simple is int it? But have you ever thought what it takes to become a successful Blogger? How Bloggers make thousands of dollars every month? Well, answer is dedication, passion and most important they are serious about Blogging.

Becoming a blogger
Lots of people try to earn money online but very few gets success. One of the best way of earning online is blogging. Blogging is one of the best career opportunity these days. Blogging needs lots of hard work, research and long working hours. But one thing came into my mind can everyone get success in Blogging? If yes, why still many bloggers fail and give up their Blogging. Why many blogs get into parked page after a year and many people don’t even bother renewing their Blog? The answer is lack of passion and motivation.

What is takes to become a Success ful Blogger?

1. You have  writing skills :-
If you have great writing skills, you can become a successful blogger. Writing is the basic skill for becoming a blogger. Your blog readership will depend on how good your writing skills are. When I’m talking about writing, it doesn’t mean writing like an expert, but write like an individual. You are not writing for a book or for a newspaper, as they are different. See the editorial page of a newspaper or a magazine, and that’s the exact kind of writing which I’m talking about.
2. You are disciplined :-
Although every work or profession needs disciplined but a blogger should be more disciplined. A blogger should work according to a time-table. It should divided into writing posts, commenting on other blogs and social networking promotion. If you want loyal readers then you have to post regular at your blog. If you will not blog regularly then you will lost your readers.
3. You are willing to learn :-
A blogger should always be ready to learn. I m still a learner. I read a lot of other blogs to gain more knowledge. Mostly bloggers share their experiences so that others can learn from them. So do spend some time to read other blogs so that you can increase your knowledge. I’m sure you are one of those who are willing to learn and that’s why you are here. But even you achieve few goals and get initial success, don’t quit reading. Reading is an essential requirement which will help you to stay updated with latest information.
4. You are good communicator :-
You can become a successful blogger if you are a good communicator. Some people thinks that a blogger’s work is over after writing the article. But they are wrong. The main work start after the completion of article. A blogger needs to promote that article on social networking sites and then he should also reply to all the comments he got on his article. You need a good communication skills for this. So improve your communication skills if you want to become a successful blogger.
5. You are willing to work hard :-
We have discussed earlier that hard work is the basis for becoming the successful blogger. A blogger has to work day and night to find new ideas and then he has to active on all the social networking sites to promote his blog. You don’t have to stress yourself with too much of work, rather use your time smartly and delegate time consuming work to your virtual staff.
6. You are creative person :-
It’s not necessary that every blogger should be a creative person, but it’s certainly an advantage for you. Creativity is one the most important part of writing. Creative articles always attract the attention of readers. It helps you to stand out from the rest.
These are the qualities you should have if you want to become a blogger. As I said earlier anyone can become blogger if he have these qualities. Please do add your thoughts in the comments section.

How to creat free Blog on Blogger Platform

making blog free

Having a blog is a great thing, because you can share anything you like, and if you are wise you can also earn a decent income from your blog.
Here at Tutoking.Com I have written about many blogging platforms that you can use to create a blog for yourself.  One of my favorite methods for creating a blog is to use your own domain and hosting, while creating your blog via WordPress.
We have talked a lot about self-hosted WordPress blogs in previous posts, and there is no doubt that this presents a better blogging platform when compared to free blogging platforms like BlogSpot.com and WordPress.com. However, many newbies who want to start blogging don’t want to make an initial investment of funds to create a blog, and this is reasonable.
There are many blogging platforms which offer users the ability to create free blogs. If you are looking for free blog creation, my suggestion would be to start blogging from WordPress.com or BlogSpot.com.  Once you have some blogging experience, you can advance and become more professional with your self-hosted WordPress blog.
BlogSpot allows you to create a free blog, but it does have some limitations.  However, as I mentioned above, for a beginner it is a good way to learn to create a blog and to begin the blogging process.

This post is dedicated to the “beginners” who are new to blogging but would like to get started, and who desire an easy way to learn the process involved.
Before I begin the complete tutorial, there are a couple of things you should know:
First, BlogSpot is a blogging platform by Google.  It offers you an opportunity to start a blog, though all your images will be hosted by Picasa which is also part of Google.  BlogSpot, then, is a Google-centric blogging platform.
Second, if the goal of your blog is to make money and to have a blog that is professional in appearance, I would recommend that you create your blog using WordPress. It’s easy, and with the help of our exclusive free WordPress guide, you can create your blog in the next 60 minutes.

Step-by-step Guide to Creating a Free Blog on BlogSpot:

To create your free blog site, head over to BlogSpot.com and login using your Google account. If you don’t have a Google (gmail) account, create one for free.
For the first time user, you will see an option to use the identity from your Google Plus profile, or you can use your limited BlogSpot profile. I would recommend using your Google Plus profile.
Once you are logged in, click on the new blog and go to create a free blog.
Name your blog:
The first thing you need to do is add a name and select your domain name. I suggest you read how to select a domain name for additional information.
Avoid using your name as the domain name, and instead use some generic domain name that you can brand later with your custom domain.
You can select the blog template (you can change it anytime), and click on “create the blog”.
Now your blog is created, but you are not done yet. There are few settings that you need to set on your newly created BlogSpot blog to make it easy to use.
Now you are on the BlogSpot dashboard where you will see your blog’s backend.  From here you can go to “settings” and make changes to improve your blog’s visibility.  Here is a screenshot of what you should be seeing:
BlogSpot dashboard
From here you can click on “Posts” > “New post” and start writing your first blog post! Before you write your first post, however, I would recommend that you go to “Pages” and create few pages such as the “About” page which should be about you and what your blog is about. You can read my earlier guide on why you need an “About” page for your blog.
Most importantly, you should change your blog’s template as the default one is generic and boring in my opinion. Here I have compiled a list of free BlogSpot templates that you can download and install on your blog. Alternatively, you can go to “Settings”> “Template” and from there make changes such as the addition of your logo to the header of your BlogSpot blog, or the addition or removal of various other features noted.
Make blogspot blog
Once you have a few blog posts up and running, you can go to “Settings” > “Earnings” and enable AdSense for your blog. This way you can also earn money from your free BlogSpot blog.
